Just Blog It Away
One day I was reading a travel magazine and this urge to write just came all of a sudden so strong that I said it out loud: "I want to write." Then my friends looked at me and nonchalantly reacted to my outburst. "Then write." they said. "You can have a blog," they added. I sighed and said, "Yeah." Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean that my desire to write just started that day. Nope! I love writing since the day I learned how to write I guess. I've been keeping a diary since elementary. I used to write fiction novels in my high school years. I was a writer and an editor in our school publication in college. I loved to write essays. When my teaching career started, my busy schedule got the better of me. I can hardly find time to write. But, yeah, I still keep a diary but not long ones though. It's more of a memo in my planner.
